From Belmopan...
Belmopan got over 26mm ( 1" ) of rain last night. NOAA show a cold front as having passed over us, but what cold front. ? The Day time temperature was the highest so far this year and last nights temperature was the same as it has been for several passed days and close to the warmest night time temperature, significantly above the average temperatures, so how can they call it a cold front. ? I think NOAA are rather confused. The Surface wind is from the SW probably "Tiger" wind, but the Overcast clouds still from the North, the sun just barely visible presently. The higher level Pacific winds, that are the far west origin, normally over Mexico, that have cause all this rain, rubbing against the mid level lower clouds, causing all that sheet lightning last night. The worst of that, or was it the best , we needed that rain, has now passed, we could get a little more in a day or so`s time.
Today starting Overcast, but cloud is thinning in patches, so we may well see some sun, probably not a lot and there could be the odd rain shower at any time today and this evening.
