soon to be two years since my visit.
I still consider it one of the best places to visit. does the Seaduced opertaor, Tony, i think, still have the fastest boat on the island. Is Satan still hanging out in the back lagoon eating chickens out of the hands of crazy tourists? One of the best meals I had there was the stewed balizian chicken sold out of the carts by the hoops court.
are the rasta guys still wearing those colorful croqueted caps? is the Palms next to Ramons still one of the best secrets. does young blonde and her mom still run the rentals on the dock in front of the palms?
what about the hot babes working the casino. i'm still in love. I miss it all and have got to get back there someday.

Well...I can help to answer a couple of your questions, as I was just in AC a couple of weeks ago...

Elito, of SEAduced, has a very fast boat. I believe he is also the owner of the company. Great guy!

...and I can answer the one about the Rasta mons in their crocheted hats - just back from 10 days on AC. Yup, you bet, they are definitely alive and well on the island. Have a particularly funny story about one guy who thought he was totally busted when approaching us from the rear with an offer of ganja. We were having a serious case of the screw-arounds that day. I was wearing my FBI shirt and my other half was in his NYPD shirt (not visible from the back). You should have seen Rasta man's face when we turned around! He said, "Ya know what the Rasta Mon's got, yeah? You can't bust me can ya? You on vacation!"

Hi Jane in PA. yeah thats right, Aug 2000 just before the hurricane crushed the island. I hadn't gone on the message board for sooo long and when I saw the Sweet Jane name I thought maybe it was you. are you an addicted message boarder? great to hear from you. I see Chloe is still at it too and i see alot of familiar names of the regulars.
Tami, i looked at all your pics. they make me miss the place even more. I live a few hours north of you in SLO. (a sweet place of its own) Elito, right, he does great tours and really knows alot about the area. We did the manatee, Geoff Caye, swim with sharks and manta rays. Did you see the tree full of banana eating lizards or the seahorses? we also went to the ruins with Seaduced as well.
Bankerwoman you should of confiscated the rasta mon's stash. ok now i'm ruined for productivity for the day. i'll be daydreaming for the rest of it.

No, no. The Rastamon get to keep his stash -no jurisdiction outside the U.S. for me. Didn't want to get busted myself and besides, he looked like he was having too much fun to spoil his day.

I've been looking at the message boards...thinking of hitting the island with a few girlfriends, Reefer, you've just about sold me on it, you really sound like you've found paradise..except for your wife, I bet you've still got some pretty bruised shins! Does she always ruin your fun?
