From Belmopan...

Well a sorry state of affairs, the NOAA site cant be bothered to work at present, and the Belize Met office site says " server is temporarily capacity problems " . . Particularly bad when there is a TS in the Atlantic.

They have now upgraded that Atlantic storm, it is now Tropical Storm Danny but it looks as if they now suspect it will be reducing in force by the time it gets to the Caribbean, dropping from Cat.2 to Cat.1

Actually, as I copied out this, they have changed their minds again and suggest it will start to dwindle by Saturday. In fact the wind speed forecasts indicate that it might never reach Hurricane speeds. They all now predict it will go north of the Caribbean. So it looks as if Belize will be clear of any effects from Danny.

The north winds are continuing at high level, with relatively little effect on the lower Caribbean east winds.

I expect today to be sunny, but with significant clouds at times, could be a small chance of a little rain.

Temperatures in Belmopan :
Today is probably going to be Similar, to yesterday : Tue, max 34°C 93°F Last night min 23°C 74°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )

OK, both the Belize Met Office & NOAA working again. ( Just possible the lack of NOAA might have caused the Belize Met to have computer problems as they show this same picture I use, normally. )

As you can see, the north winds over Belize and a bubble of Pacific air from Panama moving up over the central Caribbean. NOAA now show TS Danny, but they show its track a little further south than most other predictions do.

What is concerning me though, is further development Behind Danny, which I saw yesterday, which now appears to be developing more, 2nd red circle, at 10°N 30°W
