From Belmopan...
Rain last night, mainly in the south, but some showers in any location. That is continuing this morning, there was another flare-up over Toledo last night, that dying out but still causing some rain in the mountains and Guatamala. There are scattered showers coming in with the easterly Caribbean wind from time to time.
I expect today will have sun and a fair amount of cloud and the occasional scattered shower.
Note : The Yellow arrows are often the mid-level cloud, but the actual Rain movement is not always the same as the wind at that height. So here you can see the rain cloud spreading out to the NNW, taking the rain in that direction.
Temperatures in Belmopan:
Today is probably going to be Similar, to yesterday :
Fri, max 34°C 94°F Last night min 26°C 78°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
Tropical Storm Erika now called Remnants of Erika but they are showing its centre "L" as being North of Cuba. But you can see it is clearly well south of Cuba and going towards Jamaica. Which is what I was showing a couple of days ago.
They don't appear to have a clue what is going on, all the predictions were saying north of Cuba, but you see where NOAA show it early this morning. Since then it has nearly broken up. Nice if it could still bring Rain to Belize, but unlikely.
You can see the flair-up over Toledo early this morning.
