From Belmopan...
A series of small swell-ups last night mainly over the sea near Toledo, brought rain to many southern and central areas of Belize over night, most of that rain has now almost dried out. Southerly high clouds and winds still predominate.
There is a lot of serious ITCZ activity down south of Guatamala and near Panama, that is keeping the air churned up.
I expect this cloud cover to persist for some time and then Caribbean white clouds to develop, so more sun later, could be the odd shower, but not much.
The light blue arrow is the surface Tiger winds this morning,
White the Caribbean winds, that will take over later, Yellow some mid level cloud, Orange the high level winds.
Temperatures in Belmopan:
Today is probably going to be Similar, to yesterday :
Wed, max 33°C 92°F Last night min 25°C 77°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
Tropical Storm - Atlantic Activity
Not much in the Atlantic, but there is stuff coming off Africa now.
A fair bit of activity in our area, near Panama. And that small bit in the eastern Caribbean.
