I am going to be vacationing in San Pedro next month and am thinking about bringing along my drone to take some aerial photos of San Pedro. Does anyone know if there are any restrictions for using a drone on Ambergris Caye or in San Pedro? Thanks in advance.

Be aware that the Airport is in Downtown San Pedro. Planes take off to the South and approach from the south. I don't think flying a Drone near, or South, of the Airport is smart.
I can't imagine that Belize has regs yet as the U.S. is still working it out.
A little known fact... Women who are overweight tend to live longer than men who mention it...

Just about all the Real Estate Companies have one, or have access to one and hence Resorts if they need a Marketing Video. Just in case you were thinking financial rather than fun - a heads up rather than a telling off

and if you want to learn how to ethically, legally, safely, and technically operate a drone......give me a shout. One seat left in this very successful workshop led by 2 industry leaders - one of whom also happens to be a Senior United pilot. http://www.mainemedia.edu/workshops/photography/earth-sky-drone-flight-aerial-filmmaking-photography

Shameless plug ends here. smile
