This unusual weather is continuing, significant rain and cloud staying out in the Caribbean, with an outer band just off the Belize coast also causing some significant rain, but very little, if any on land. It is a mixture of high level NW winds, clashing with mid-level air moving up from the south and the surface Caribbean easterly wind, which has been backed off during the night by the westerly Tiger wind. And all squeezed by the cold front to the NW.
Looks like today will be fairly sunny, but there is going to be a fair amount of cloud around, some thick for most of the day, probably little or no rain. But heavy rain out at sea
