Season's Greetings One and All,

The holiday season is upon us. "A Party in a Pear Tree", our pageant, should be a ton of fun along with delicious food, prepared by Celi's Deli in conjunction with Holiday Hotel.

It will be held Wednesday, December 16th at 7:00 pm

All dinner proceeds will be donated to assist an Island Academy Alumnus with medical bills. Tickets should be purchased in advance (before Wednesday noon) from your child's teacher and tell friends that tickets are available at the office from 8:30-12:00 with Chefy. An added attraction will be the children's artwork and calendars for purchase that evening as well.

The 2016 calendar has self portraits of all of the current TIA students represented in at least one month of the year. Thanks to Pam and Tom Ostermann, my sister and brother in law, for putting the calendar together, sponsoring the printing and then bringing them all to Belize (150 of them). They will be selling them on the night of the pageant for $20. We hope you will enjoy them as much as we do. Consider a calendar as a possibility for a gift to a relative also.

The faculty and staff would like to wish you all a pleasant and healthy holiday season and a fabulous New Year. We appreciate your entrusting your children with us.

Cheers,
Lady Bowen

PS Remember the cash bar the night of the pageant!!!!!

Island Academy presents "The most wonderful time of the Year"

The students of Island Academy showcased the magic of the holiday season with their highly anticipated annual Christmas Pageant. On Wednesday, December 16th, the students brought in a celebration of joy and cultural diversity with a dynamic presentation themed "It's the most wonderful time of the year." The program featured the various ways to experience and enjoy Christmas.

During her welcome address, Founder Lady Dixie Bowen welcomed the families and guests who were present to cheer the night's performers. The first number of the night saw the infant classes performing two song presentations while dressed as Santa's elves. Their rendition of 'Frosty the Snowman' and The Best Christmas of All, followed by Santa Claus is coming to town and Winter Wonderland was a joy to watch.
