Thanks for the update, Melissa! We became quite good friends with Rocque while we were there...he was trying to teach my wife how to speak Mayan! I sent him and Jerry and JJ a bunch of stuff last summer. JJ and I became chums while fishing last summer...he fell asleep on my lap on the way back...what a cute kid!
We were hoping that oneday Rocque could come stateside for a visit, but then all hell (9/11) broke loose...I haven't heard from him at all, so if you get a chance, tell him that Steve, Kathy, and Doug all said "HI!" from Colorado!

Hey sweet girl. I just checked out your site. You had me all choked up. You definitely have a way of describing the island and country. After living there for two years it's really hard to be away.
