I finally got around to putting up pictures from my Christmas trip. I'm hoping for Christmas...but I'm outnumbered so far 3 to 1 in favor of visiting relatives in the SF Bay area. If I can convince THEM to come to Colorado this summer....then maybe AC will be in for another Pirate invasion!
Anyone know if Rocque, Jerry, and Luis are still around? My brother and I would LOVE to take those guys ice-fishing! HAHAHAHAHA!!! Can you imagine??

Hey Pirate-Rocque and Jerry are still around. They don't work together anymore though. Jerry still works at the same place and Rocque is doing freelance tours. Rocque is having some problems right now-but I think he will get everything straightened out. Did you meet Jerry's son JJ? If so, you would be amazed to see him now-he has gotten really big. Anyway-just thought I would let you know. Melissa

Thanks for the update, Melissa! We became quite good friends with Rocque while we were there...he was trying to teach my wife how to speak Mayan! I sent him and Jerry and JJ a bunch of stuff last summer. JJ and I became chums while fishing last summer...he fell asleep on my lap on the way back...what a cute kid!
We were hoping that oneday Rocque could come stateside for a visit, but then all hell (9/11) broke loose...I haven't heard from him at all, so if you get a chance, tell him that Steve, Kathy, and Doug all said "HI!" from Colorado!

Hey sweet girl. I just checked out your site. You had me all choked up. You definitely have a way of describing the island and country. After living there for two years it's really hard to be away.
