If you are living in Belize, and shopping on Ambergris Caye, it can sometimes be difficult to find everything you want. For those staying north of the bridge, it has always been even more so. Now, shopping up north has gotten easier and plentiful. The Beach Basket at Grand Caribe Resort has your needs covered and at a reasonable price – considering everything costs more to get to an island and across a toll bridge.

Why are we so excited to have a grocery store? Because it’s not just your typical grocery store…..this store is jam packed with all kinds of goodies….. it’s super clean and the staff is always very friendly.

Craving some snacks? They’ve got you covered with chips, dips, nuts, cheese and crackers……

Staying up north and need to stock up your condo with the “basics”….they have coffee, eggs, and bacon, and everything you need to cook them. That’s right – BACON! And it is delicious…..and always in stock.

NOW OPEN AT GRAND CARIBE BELIZE – THE BEACH BASKET!

With a focus on providing service to our guests here at Grand Caribe, as well as Northern Ambergris Caye residents – the Beach Basket provides your one stop shop for just about whatever you’re looking for – INCLUDING Cash-Withdrawal!!

There’s a full complement of groceries and frozen goods, including but not limited to, cleaning supplies, imported rice, canned goods, pasta, snack goods, deli meats, a wide selection of cheeses and crackers, wines, and even liquor.

The Beach Basket is home to over 60 bottles of fine wine as well as a wide variety of local and imported rums. Choose from wine brands like: Undurraga, Piper Heidsieck, Freixenet, Beringer Founders, Alamos, Lindemans, Lazo, Calvet, Bollini, Santa Margherita, Kim Crawford, Nederburg, Rene Barbier, Heitz and Luis Felipe Edwards, to name a few.

At the Beach Basket, you can stock up on your choice of Reinland Meats – beef, pork, sausage, rare deli roast beef, deli ham, fajita steak, baby back ribs and of-course, the thick cut rib eyes and NY strips! Looking for that fresh produce to bring out the flavors of your sandwiches? The Beach Basket also carries a wide variety of fresh produce to choose from.

What’s even more attractive about the Beach Basket – are the prices. The prices are extremely competitive with the in town San Pedro stores.

Short on Cash? NO WORRIES!! The Belize Bank ATM Machine is at your disposal. The Beach Basket is the ONLY place north of San Pedro Town where you can easily access your finances via the in-store Belize Bank ATM Machine. This is a welcoming addition for everyone, from our guests, patrons to the store and San Pedro residents that live north of the bridge.

There is now no reason to trek all the way into San Pedro Town as this store offers convenience, quality product, excellent pricing, friendly service and variety – right in your neighborhood.

You never want to run out of Bacon! :-)
I dropped in this place and it's impressive.
Very nice not having to cross the bridge to San Pedro for supplies.
