From Belmopan...
The Caribbean wind is still from the NE, although at the surface it is nearer to due east. Yesterday, there was very significant ITCZ activity in the Pacific to the west of Panama, it out pouring has sent high level cloud way up north and even over Belize last night although having no effect on our weather.
If you have been looking at those URL's for Belmopan and Caye Caulker I now include, you will see that Caye Caulker appears to have an almost steady easterly wind, day and night, and almost steady temperatures day and night. Where as the Belmopan station shows the temperatures I have been recording, although usually 2°F lower than mine, due to its greater height. The other thing of note on that Belmopan station is the wind paten, typically easterly during the day when the sun has got up and hot, but come evening tends to move a bit more south, but during the cool night, changes completely to come from the west, that is the night time "Tiger" wind.
Looks like today will yet again be similar to yesterday, mainly sunny with white clouds, no rain.
Today is probably going to be Similar, to yesterday :
Mon, max. 32°C 90°F Last night min. 22°C 72°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
