From Belmopan...
Most of that wet area coming up from the SW has now passed, it has joined in with TROPICAL STORM COLIN area going over Florida. That INVEST 92E source of wet area got pulled apart, but is reforming but now probably going to go away to the west they think.
Trouble with modern reporting they are now after sensationalism or something " Dr. Jeff Masters' Blog Tropical Storm Colin Becomes Earliest "C" Storm in Atlantic History " . . . Yes that might be true, but only because "A" was not a tropical storm in any case, and "B" was hardly a storm and they used to only give names to Hurricanes, now they name Tropical Storms, how long before they start naming Invests. ? . . . . Is it all so they can say, "Look more storms due to the non-existent Global Warming" ?
I am still not convinced that this is actually a "Tropical Storm", that is a large weather mass rotating. . . .I do not see any rotation in this storm, and it is not rotating around the centre as they keep showing, there is no apparent air movement around the west, north or south sides of the centre as they keep showing. To me, this is more or less a typical large ITCZ area that has got tangled up with a large wet Caribbean area they usually call tropical wave, then all its actions fit together as expected, yes you do get strong winds under ITCZ activity. But there is no clear evidence of any rotation with this storm area.
Looks like our weather, after that rain, is getting back to more like the previous few weeks, although still no easterly Caribbean winds. Probably mainly sunny, but there is a lot of thin high cloud above us, that could thicken a bit and we could get some rain, there could still be some ITCZ swell-ups this evening.
Oddly, they are not showing the supposedly Low pressure centre or tracking as they did yesterday.
You can see here, clearly how the wet ITCZ that gave us rain, is joining the storm area.
That is not normal in a rotating storm.
