I have been seeing strange numbers pop up as completed calls in the "recent calls" function on my phone.
They are all to or from Southern California, and I have made none of them. They are all under a minute and some report that they were "answered on another device"?
One was made at a time the phone was off and in my purse whilst I was flying from Europe to the US. Others while the phone was turned off and charging.
Clearly somebody is a either hacking this number or BTL is tossing random charges on my bill.
Anybody with similar experiences? I am at a loss as to what to do.

Do you have an iPhone? Turn off facetime and messaging if you do.

Thanks Simon!

If you don't turn off iMessage you'll continue to have problems. It's a known issue that I ran into about a year ago when all of a sudden after going to Canada and putting in a local SIM there and then Mexico and putting in a local SIM there. There were hundreds of messages, usually while I was sleeping. The only advice BTL could give was to turn off Facetime and iMessage. You can use regular text or use an app like WhatsApp for texting instead.
