From Belmopan...
That high level cloud streaming down from Mexico over the Gulf did cause rain in parts of central and southern Belize during the early hours this morning, but significantly less than yesterday morning. That rain has now all but cleared up. The Atlantic storm INVEST 97L is now entering the Caribbean, but it is still not clear where it might go, most models think it will go north before Cuba or over Cuba, none are showing it coming over Belize. It has high winds, almost hurricane force, but they have not, as yet classified it as a Tropical Storm.
Looks like today will be mainly sunny, white clouds building this morning and thinning this afternoon, probably no rain.
