With the hawk migration monitoring season in full swing and in an effort to further expand conservation efforts, the Belize Raptor Research Institute (BRRI) has launched a Go-Fund Me campaign raising awareness and funds. A new Belize Raptor Watch t-shirt has been designed and is currently on sale. According to BRRI, their new t-shirt designed features the 4 primary raptor species found in Belize such as the Double-toothed Kite, Hook-billed Kite, Swallow-tailed Kite and the Plumbeous Kite. The institute reports that the Kite community has a high research priority because little information of their ecology and migration is available.

Profits from their t-shirt campaign will go directly toward continuing migration research and programs like the 2016 Raptor Certification Program, a program that trains Belizeans in raptor biology and field research.
