From Belmopan...
The main bubble of cold air we had yesterday, is being replaced by easterly Caribbean air and cloud, and there is high level Pacific cloud over us from the SW. There has been quite a change in our weather, and this has nothing to do with the storm TS OTTO which has been downgraded, is near Panama. The Caribbean air was changing direction early yesterday morning from N to NE and now E. There is significant ITCZ type swell-ups on the north side of TS OTTO which is mainly out of the SW Pacific cloud that was there in the first place, but made more active by Otto. There is rain patches being brought in from the east by the E Caribbean air, this is mainly effecting the sea and much of central Belize. . . I can not get through to the Navy web site, this is partly due to BTL internet being a slow system and the Navy web site being too impatient.
Looks like today will be largely cloudy, perhaps patches of sun, certainly patches of rain in parts.
