After months of research, including people's comments on this
Forum for the last year, I chose Cigna Global with a Medical
Evacuation add-on, for around $175 USD per month. I found it to
have lots of good qualities, although for that premium price,
it comes with a $10,000 deductible. You can get much lower
deductibles, for higher monthly premiums. If I left-off the
Medical Evac part, the policy would only be $100 USD/month.
(I'm 58 w/high blood-pressure, but no other medical issues.)

Hope that helps. The people I dealt with in Scotland, were awesome.
PM me if you want, and I'll point you in that direction.

We use IMG and have for some years now. I've been happy with them. But then again I haven't had a need to use it yet.

Medicare services for folks like you and me are available only in the US at qualified Medicare providers.

That eliminates a lot of emergencies. We'll need to have something that's killing us slowly.

Merida is a great medical oasis. Forget Medicare, head off to Merida for most things.

Actually, depending on your specific policy to do have emergency care with a deductible through Manicure advantage plans. Ask your policy provider. My medicare is through AARP (I'm not a member) and I can get emergency treatment.
