Lilies is lovely -- on the beach, nice breeze. Try to get a second-floor room if possible for the view. Physicians tell me that for as short a time as most people travel to the tropics, and considering the incubation period for malaria, the best treatment is obtained when you return home. For that reason I never have bothered with malaria pre-treatment prior to going to Belize. Anyway, Ambergris Caye has no malaria problems. If you're planning an extended stay in the jungle, especially the high jungle, that's a different story. Otherwise, relax and enjoy.
