We have 3 adults and 1 child (age 8) staying on the North end of AC. How many people does a golf cart hold? Will we all fit or do I need plan to rent 2 carts? What form of payment is needed for golf rental places? Do you need travelers checks or do they take credit cards? Trying to finalize how much I will need in travelers checks. Especially the one in North AC. We have 11 days to departure!!!!!! Its almost here, I can't wait for this vacation to see what has changed since we were there last...

Beach Bound,The smaller carts will carry all of you just fine ,It has 2 bench seat ,1 forward 1 backward ,Have a great trip........

Beachbound, since last year, there's a LOT more construction going on. My hubby and I rode our bikes all the way down south and up north, and kept running into dump trucks, tractors and construction vehicles. There is a huge construction project going on right near the hand ferry near the cut (on the north side), and just a lot of stuff in general. I'm not clear whether it's hotels, private homes, or what. I get the feeling that real estate is really sizzling HOT right now. I don't know if there's a connection, but there was more traffic in town and SP seemed more noisy and bustling than last year,too.

i too was surprised at the increase of traffic, but of golf carts. i had no probs with trucks.

i was also very surprised how much san pedro had grown. i first saw it in '93, then '00. i'm glad i went back when i did.
