Just looked at CNN weather site. It says cloudy for almost all of the next four days at Half Moon Caye. (Don't know how close this is to AC.) I know it's the rainy season--and look at what Texas has been getting!--but I was hoping for breif rainstorms and otherwise sunny on Ambergris Caye. Can someone who lives there or who has been there give me an idea of what to expect over the next two weeks?

From what I've read, Belize must be great no matter what.

I have to agree with someone else who wrote that this board has been so helpful in learning about Belize, what to expect, even what to pack, etc.

weather is great, now and then a short rain squall moves across in the morning. all gorgeous after that. sometimes only a 15 minute blow.

once we got DRENCHED with a warm rain in the evening in july. it lasted a couple hours, and was a blast.

can't believe anything on those advanced weather forecasts. they put BS in them sometimes to make themselves look educated.

half moon caye is a good boat ride away. maybe 50-65 miles or so off the top of my head... SSE of san pedro...
