This will be a short one cause Johnboy & Seajay covered most of the territory.
We went there to relax and got 110% of our moneys worth! We just hungout!
A BIG benefit on this trip though was meeting all the "Boarders" at Fidos The first Monday nite! It's really great to be able to put faces on the names.
A couple new things/places that have not been mentioned yet that we discovered this trip are,
The BEST bloody marys we had were at "Coconuts". They were very close to "ZingZang" which has got to be the best mix on the market today! Also worth trying are their "Dirty Banana" and "Baily's" Daquries (sp?). I think there must be some residual rum effecting my spelling again!
We also found what is probably the best "Breakfast" on the South part of the island, it's at Georges Restaurant right behind Woody's. He also prepared the fresh Snapper we caught and served it to the three of us the way we each wanted with all the trimmings for $10bz each! Believe me, the deals abound on this island!
Yes, we tried ALL the local rums times too numerous to remember, Hell i could hardly remember my name when we left after those great 12 days!!
Ginger, It was me on the boat returning from CC that last saturday! Sounds like you and hubby had a great time too.
Seajay, i'll be sending the Banana Bank pic's today to your e-mail addy.
To sum it up, it was another lotta days in "Paradise" that can only be appreciated by experiencing it personally !
If your a "Lurker" on this board and have yet to go...Just do it!
Forgot to mention that the entertainment was great and "FREE" too. We spent alot of time following Dennis Wolfe and Casey Moore from the "Hide Away" to "Palapa Bar". This was the my first time to hear Casey play his Banjo! You gotta see them at the Hideaway if you go!!

I tried those Banana dacquaris and George's Kitchen too. Both were great. Just can't seem to make the drink like it tasted down there!

Nice job on the trip report, Richard! We enjoyed meeting you and Hud. Here's a picture from the party at Fido's...my first attempt with this online service. Keepin' my fingers crossed.

Hey Laurie,
Good job on the pic! Thanx, i think we have one on one of the many cameras we used! Good meeting you guys. What a trip. It's Thursday and my head is finally clearing. Maybe i'll add stuff as i recollect.
Hey Jane, some of you guys are insatiable!
I'm not supposed to have to perform immediately upon my return, am i? Oh hell,
i think i just remembered my name!
That pic was taken before we moved to the table with the Cailfornia folks. Things got better as the evening wore on. Hud gave me the camera today that we used that nite and literally begged me to get it processed and burn the pics! wonder why?
The thought process post trip seems to reveal stuff i had forgotten!
I think the secret to the "Dirty Bananna" thingy is to use "coconut cream" and lots of ice and Creame de Cocoa.
Good luck.......Richard
