So once we're at Victoria House, how do we go about booking a cave tubing trip? Through VH or do we call around? Also, how far are the "cave rivers" from VH? Is this a day-long trip with a lot of traveling to and from?
We'll also be staying on the mainland (possibly at Maruba Spa) before VH -- should we do the cave tubing from there? Is that closer or farther?
Obviously I'm still unclear on the geography!

I would suggest you do the cave tubing while staying at Maruba Spa. Actually they had a group there while we were there. The cave tubing is on the mainland and VH is on the island. If you do decide to wait until you get to the island to go cave tubing. You can plan on a whole day. Most of the tours leave around 6ish a.m. and you return around 5ish p.m. The boat ride across is about 1 1/2 hours and then you take about an hour drive.
