I just saw that American is flying limited service direct out of Wash DC. Cmon... Someone has to run one out of NYC. It's a matter of time....

Actually the American from DC is not non stop. Stops in Miami. Just originates in DC with that same flight number (2173). It is somewhat of a problem though - it arrives in BZE at 6:41PM so too late to get over to SP the same day. Not a problem if you are going to the mainland first.

I see. Its just one of those "stay on the plane" deals? What a tease.

Boston, Philly and DC are $200 cheaper than Charlotte. That's so typical of USAir!

"direct" is not the same thing as "non-stop" --- "direct" simply means you do not change planes whereas "non-stop" is obvious.

When some air lines gets a direct flight regularly out of Dallas, Atlanta or even New Orleans, regular, will be booked up by all of us that love Belize. Delta has been teasing all of us about a direct out of Atlanta gate for over a year now. Good and Bad will be easy an cheap connect but then the bad will be flooded with easy to get to Belize tourist like Cancun. Surely we do not want that. Which do we choose.

KBG...we usually go DFW to Miami then on to Belize. That way puts us on AC a few hours earlier than the direct. We do the direct home. Just looking for something cheaper than what we,ve been finding and Barbara has helped us out before. NO-NO CANCUN ANYTHING!!
