i have found that scrubs from the local resale shop work well as cover ups for the jungle and sun burned legs. they are light weight and dry quickly. also you get treated better when people think you are a doctor . just hope that no one needs medical attention.

I did Lamanai in shorts, tennis shoes and some bug spray, but it wasn't bad at all (in May). I cannot put long pants on when I am in the tropics! Too confining and too hot.

did it barefoot with shorts and sometimes shirt several times.

usually i wear minimum shoes. but i'm barefoot based.
