My husband and I and another couple are arriving in Belize City by cruise ship. We'll be in port from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00p.m. and what to see and do as much as we can. We'd really like to snorkle, see San Pedro and also Caye Caulker and make it back in time not to miss our ship! We plan on flying from Municipal to San Pedro on the earliest flight we can get. Does anyone know how long the cab ride is from the tender dock to Municipal and how much it should cost? We are seriously considering what sounds like a great trip on the Winnie Estelle that leaves at 10:30 and returns at 4:00 -but that leaves no time for Caye Caulker. Will we be sorry if we miss this spot? Should we consider a snorkle trip from Caye Caulker that also stops in San Pedro? Don't know when we'll ever get back to Belize, so want to make the very most of our day. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

If it was me and my wife I would get a cab right off the ship and take it to Municipal. Take the first Mayan or Tropic flight to San Pedro. I would not worry about making reservations unless you are arriving at peak holiday time. Then I would walk around town for an hour and then go to any of the dive operations and arrange for a trip to Mexico Rocks/Tres Cocos for a snorlel trip. I would then have lunch at Calienta's and arrange a snorkel trip to Hol Chan/Shark Ray Alley. I would not even dream of Caye Caulker with your time frame. Get back from snorkel trip and hit the local bars with any remaining time and then get back to Belize City. I promise it will be a day you will never forget for your whole life. That is my 2 cents!
There is only one cure for baldness. It was invented by a Frenchman. It is called the guillotine.

My wife & I Loved, Capital L, the Winnie Estelle. It used to stop at Caye Caulker for lunch. a good value and absolutely Terrific. Rum punch like novacaine. Will you prefer to be on land after your cruise? If so, rent a cart and be hells angels in golf carts.
Tip of the day. Fly from municiapl airport, not international, and the fare is about half.
