Last time we were in AC (in 1999), my husband and I found the work of a potter/ceramicist named Amy (I think that's what her name was anyway...) who worked out of her apartment on the beach near the Innovative Watersports pier. Her stuff was mostly nature-inspired (sea life themes) and pretty affordable, and we bought a piece from her on that trip. I know this is kind of a vague description, but does anyone know if she is still in the area? We'll be returning next month and would love to pick up another piece.

Sounds like Amy Brown that you are talking about. Her studio was in front of the TMM dock. She is no longer there I'm sorry to say.
