We are going to be there Feb 1st and have a Golf cart for the week, How far North can you drive, I know last time we were ther we turned and drove down the beach and got close to capricorns but I have read that you can get to Captain Morgans do you just skip the beach road?
Thanks only 15 days left!!!!!

Just stay on the main (ha! ha!) road and it will take you to Capicorn / Captian Morgans. The road ends there.

The road gets rough. If possible, I would recommend the beach trail which you can get to from Palapa Bar. It's much nicer but I'm unsure if you can take a cart.

FYI
Anyone in a rented golf cart can easily go to Journeys End or Rendevous Restaurant on the road.
No need to ever go to the beach. If you need to go further and don't mind pissing off people you can go at least as far as Mata Chica.

How far did they grade the road? I saw pictures of the area just past the ferry (Rick and Cheri's ) and it looked really good! How is it around White Sands and El Pescador, if anyone knows ?
