good morning texans! well i think i woke up in texas this morning. the mercury on my patio only rose to a whopping 28 degrees and that is farenheit people. no wonder i want to leave the sub tropics for the tropics. i couldn't even get the cat to go out. he's no fool.
tes - where is your favorite fishing hole? i just love it in galveston. good choice of places to call home.

I know a great place to have a Texas board party. Have any of you been to a real Texas Ice House? Wire reels for tables, barrels for bar stools.....in The Woodlands, just north of H-Town, or a beautiful lake front bar. Just a suggeston.

North of Houston is close enough for us...As I've said before, just tell us where & when(any weekend)..............

Howbout brisket, Texas Caviar, Shiner Bock and what ever......

Papa's it is. Either the lake (complete with palm trees) or the ice house at the Woodlands. Both have hotels, resturants next door, won't have to drive after party! 1st week of June fine with me, who else?

Well If we are going to do this thing in Texas then I say we meet half way and eat the Best BBQ in the State or maybe even in the country at the Salt Lick. Besides you ain't in Texas until you are in the hill Country! I love Austin Go Horns........

Papa's on Lake Conroe is almost as San Pedro as you can get and still be in Texas. It sits on a point with big palm trees, cold beer, water etc. Boat trips can be arrainged, hotels and BBQ served on the deck. Sat.June 7th. Any takers, just let me know and I will go to work on it.

I don't see why I could not make it with this much advance notice!

Meeting is a great idea. But I have a huge problem, when I get to the Houston area, I know for $300.+ RT and 2 hours 20 minutes I could land in Belize City, another $100.RT and 17 minutes be on Ambergris. Then hotel charges and food & drinks are a wash. See my point?
Best location for a Texas Belize Board Meeting is San Pedro, Belize. June is good.

Papa's on the Lake is the perfect place!

I know this will not be the right time or place for some. However, it will be for the rest. It is a reason to get together, meet and enjoy life. I understand that for a few bucks more and several days more you could go anywhere you wish. This is an option for thoes who wish to join in. For more info. , see post headed TX BOARD PARTY.
