I just read a post about the "cruise days". I am not familiar with this - do the cruise ships dock at Ramon's? any info is greatly appreciated. We go 3/15 - 24.

No, cruise ships do not dock on the island, they dock in Belize City and some of the cruise people take the ferry to the island. "Cruise days" are days that the ships come to Belize City and the cruisers take the day tours to AlTunHa,Maruba, Lamamai, snorkel and dive. So these places are like extra crowded.
Someone correct me if I am wrong somewhere!!!

Gee, if a ship that size could dock at Ramons that'd be the scariest site eek . It'd reach the end of the island! I guess I have been lucky not to run into large crowds/ships on the days I've taken mainland tours.

I forgot which days the cruise ship visit. I'll do a search on the board.

The Cruise ship tour operators usually doch at Fido's and Hustler, usually 2-4 boats containing 40 people each.
