Oh DannyBoy is the nicest family man you could ever meet. Key is "family", he is not into taking PARTY groups. Danny is an independent guide.
Our family ages 13 18 20 41 and 63, and each of us found something in common to love about Danny.
We did 3 trips up to Basil Jones Area, and one trip to Caye Caulker with Danny. If I recall the charge for all of us was $80 to $120. per trip. (priced according to gas prices and time) Danny is the smoothest boat captain, not a water rodeo guy. He can produce a rainbow often too.....LOL.
On the way to Caye Caulker is a good snorkeling site, the name escapes me, something gardens? But the day we went, a storm moved and and we bypassed the snorkeling, on the way back to San Pedro.
Danny did not get in the water and snorkel with us, he knew we knew the rules and could be on our own at Mexico Rocks.
For Hol Chan and Shark Ray, I always go with Enrique with AquaDives at the Sunbreeze Hotel.
I am not a strong swimmer, and the currents are strong, so Enrique tows me.
Danny is flexible on the type of trip and day you want. Beach, food, swim, snorkel, and fishing. He sure can find unique sea life, in the shallow waters.
He reads the weather well, and reschedules.
Oh sure, bottled water everywhere for sale.
