Coming to AC for a week with 5 friends to dive, drink, and chase wild dogs.Staying at Gaz's.Always like to bring 'hard to get' gifts to the locals. Any suggestions? Been reading the message board, Can't wait to get there!

I haven't visited anywhere yet where team hats are not a hit. another thread mentioned books, crayons, etc for kids, plus somebody posted a cool website for small toys. Cannot find that thread, but it is here somewheres.

don't just chase those dogs, contribute to the Saga Society - they are doing an admirable job and deserve support. A small donation would make a difference, plus you can purchase a cool tee or the great calender.

I admit to having a soft spot in my heart for animals. I also donate to children's charities - to me it isn't a choice between the two, it's support both.

Enjoy your trip! smile

come to think of it, probably the best way to help AC is to donate money (I think that counts as a hard to get item) to one or more of the non profits listed under Goods & Services at the top. The Lions Club has a clinic which I am sure could use donations.

Wouldn't anyone be interested in visiting Dangriga with some of these gifts?

Hi, trina I would suggest the Orange Walk area. There is a lot to offer there. In particular there is the Lamanai Outpost lodge that offers exactly what you're looking for. You can contact me if you need more info at [email protected]

M2B Thanks for the page (oriental). Cool site, will come in handy.

D-jon Is that like the mustard? You'll have to prove your a charity case. As in a tax write off.

Any one(s) going to be in A.C. Mar.29- April 5th ?
