We've decided to go to Belize for our honeymoon. I'm looking for suggestions on places to stay - fiance wants boat drinks on the beach smile . Would love to stay at the victoria house but it might be a bit out of our range. Thanks for any input.

hi Liz! best wishes to you smile

I know I have seen alot of posts regarding weddings. I would think the places suggested for weddings would work for you. so if you do a search (at the top of this page) for weddings - you should find alot of good tips! Even do a seach for honeymoons. I bet a there are places that have honeymoon specials. Good luck!

Hi Liz,

Happy honeymoon and marriage! Victoria House is a very nice place with great people. Recommend you also check Caribbean Villas Hotel - it is popular with honeymooners too. The rates are very competitive for all you get there; ask for a discount from posted rates if you book directly. CV is only 10 suites/rooms on 3 acres of land with bird sanctuary, gardens, wildlife, free bikes, hot tubs, 300 foot beach, hammocks & lounge chairs and a 300+ foot dock with swimming and snorkeling area. You would be a 10-15 minute nice beachwalk from town; CV is north of Victoria House towards town. CV does not accept commissions from guides or tour companies so you get objective recommendations for excursions and in some cases, cheaper prices. They have a long-term staff who love their guests. Tell them this is a honeymoon trip. We think the island will support the special memories you are creating wherever you stay!
