Yes, Caliente's are good. The dipping sauce is what makes them so extraordinary!! What is in that elixir of the Gods???????

Jennie's at Caliente's makes them almost like her mother, Ms Elvi. Jennie is very proud that all her receipes are her own. She doesn't even steal from her mothers receipes. PS. Then that jerk Richie takes off with all of Jennie's receipes, for a couple extra dollars. What a jerk!!

We went to Calientes this February with Sylvin and a new person just certified to dive (Hi Pam!) to celebrate, and I am kicking myself that I didn't try the fritters after hearing all this. They sound good. Next trip.

Caliente gets my vote on conch fritters. They are crispy and light and the sauce is to die for!

Just to make sure my vote was not made in haste, I had one simple order of Conch Fritters with the "secret sauce" at Caliente's this afternoon. No mistake!!! Jennie has away with Conch Fritters.

Hey, I don't know who has the best conch fritters on Ambergris Caye, but does anybody know if any place makes conch fingers? Nothing but tender breaded deepfried conch served with lime mayo sauce. TO DIE FOR!!! I've only had it this way in the Abaco's (bahamas) Sure hope we can find it in Belize.
