If you take a rental kayak from Captain Morgan's to San Pedro... Can you leave it on the beach for an hour or two without worrying about it being taken? Is there a good place to leave a couple of kayaks? TIA

Good question, Scubadoo....Seashell, where are you???? This certainly should work for you. I'd like to know, too. I've just recently started to try kayaks, no way have the technique yet. My best guess is you will work it out just fine. This is, after all, Belize. Scuba, I would be seriously surprised if anyone messed with the kayak.

My guess is, ask Capt. Morgan which dock to use in San Pedro, and how to secure the kayak while tied to the northside of the dock? That is if you can tie up a kayak, maybe it has to be beached.

My understanding is northside can be used by visiting boats. Southside use is for the owners of the dock/pier.

Sorry gang, I don't know the answer to this one but I have a suspicion. I think you'd have to leave the kayak somewhere secure.

personally i wouldn't recommend just
leaving it on the beach without someone to watch it.
