I have read something about every place to eat or drink on AC except the Black and White. Has anyone but my wife and I visited the place? If you are not aware of it, it is a small place located on the nonbeach side of the road going south. Total local flavor. The guy that runs it is (I believe ) named Frank, He was great! We will be sure to visit it again when we return in June. ML

I liked it, but I'm into local culture. I'm not sure that the Fido's crowd would enjoy it.

I started everyday off at Fido's and began every night there too. You can't beat the people there. Great drinks and wonderful bartenders.

chris, shaggy and nolan (all from fidos) are the ABSOLUTE best!!!!!!!

And speaking of local places, what ever happened to Mr. C's Sports Bar?

I saw Black and White but it was not meal time, while touring the south end.

Is Black and White anything like Reef Restaurant on Middle street?

If so, then it would be for me, and I DO love Fido's. I use Fido's like my familyroom, when in San Pedro.

Wonder how many places there are on Ambergris to have a meal? My guess 75? Hard to cover all those in 14 days, even harder in 7 days, but darn I sure try.

Please, Please go to Fido's and meet Chris, Nolan, and Shaggy. If you love life, you will love them. I didn't know what to expect when I went to Belize.... but I know how I felt when it ended. My husband and I aren't old, but we are not young. (SSSHHH - please don't tell that we are only 34- just kidding.) Seriously though - they showed us the best time ever! I could NEVER EVER imagine Belize without them! Please trust me, as an outsider, meet them! And, do yourself a favor, tell them that Aryl and Pati sent you! They really are amazingly fun!

I stopped and had a belikin at Black & White, some great reggae was playing - but I didn't eat. Next time.
