Just returned from our vacation. We stayed 5/18-26/03 at Casa Caracol and couldn't have been happier. The lodging filled the bill for our group, and Phil went out of his way to keep the activites roster coordinated amongst the five of us (two scuba divers and three non-divers). We divers stayed in the "back" bedroom and hogged that bathroom, and the others shared the main bathroom in the middle of the house. Having their pets Ellie and Scrappy wander about while hosing off dive gear in the backyard, or sitting on the front porch reading, gave the place a great "homey" atmosphere. One of the best meals we had was when my brother bought some freshly filleted fish from fishermen cleaning them on the dock, and barbecued them using the grill there with Belizean spices. Anyway, you can't go wrong dealing wih these folks (Marie & Phil).
