Hello again. We are getting married in Playa Del Carmen and then honeymooning in Belize for about 10 days in mid June. We've never been to Belize and have just purchased a few guide books. We were thinking about a few days in AC, a few days in the atolls and maybe a few jungle days. Any suggestions on where to go, accommodations, transportation, etc or other itineraries?

We are pretty laid back travelers and have backpacked through Turkey and the Red Sea. We probably will do lots of snorkeling (sorry no scuba...wife to be has an ear condition that won't let us do that), a little fishing, some hiking, and alot of hanging out at the beach. We'll also be coming from a mega-resort/spa type of place in Mexico and don't necessarily need that again.

Thanks for your help!

Recommend you check Caribbean Villas Hotel via "Lodging" above - it is anti-megaresort. Only 10 suites/rooms on 3 acres, all suites/rooms oceanfront with full sea and reef views, wooded bird sanctuary, gardens, hammocks, hot tubs, pier with swimming and snorkeling area. They can recommend and book fishing guides for you; CV does not accept commissions from guides or tour companies. Ask for discount from posted rates if you book directly and tell them this is a honeymoon. Happy trip and marriage!
