I am going to ship some lures down to avoid the airport problem. What should I send? I have heard rattletraps and jigs. I plan to wade and fish on my own w/o a guide. Any suggestions on lures, line size and locations. I will be staying at the Perla Escondida about a mile S of town. Thanks.

I .would not be so worried ,about that put them in your checked bags ???but your karma is most important .if your fishing the flats any small lure, 1.0 2.0 mustard hook any shine or metal good for small cuda also live bait small sardines ,cut up conch ,cut fish bait work well .lots of bone fish in the flats .very small feather ,fly.small jig heads work well .try different things ??lots of life around the piers snapper ,jacks etc..you will see them ...also you should go out to the reef but if thats not your thing or, money is a factor ??try the shore I tried it it was not my thing ,but hell a bad day fishing still beter than a good day at work >>use all your lures and you will se what works the tide and moon and wind are also a factor tight lines good fishing to ya ,enjoy
