Sammy So So: I met a gentleman from California that has a Viking Sport Fisherman for sale. It is a 2000 year model, 56ft (maybe a little bigger than what you want) It is currently in Florida getting a complete over-haul. I rode on it from South Water Caye to AC in May. $1.8mil If that fits your needs, I can let you know how to reach him.

bywarren: That's a little rich for my blood!!! If I had that kind of money I'd buy one of those boats that burns 6 gallons per minute like Pedro1 trolls out of!!! I'm more in the 30 to 40K range. I'm working on one in Cape Canveral that pretty much fits the description in my first message for 35K. Haven't seen it except for picture on the Net. Getting details & history on it now, but I'm still looking. Thanks for the rich tip tho!

If you bring it down to San Pedro, and make it thru the cut, look me up I will buy the champagne for the official Belize christening. I do not want people to think I just hang around with the Pedro and the "big dogs". laugh

bywarren, I will do that. Can we drink the bottle first then perform the Belize christening?

You would not want to drink what I planed on buying. laugh

I said I rode on that $1.8mil boat. I did not say I owned it. Although, there was a time in my life when I contemplated a toy like that (before I moved to AC). If anyone remembers when Dave Barrows and I brought down the "Rubicon", that was a small sport fisherman that we did a "trial run" with. This info is primarily for those who are talking about how much money it takes to live on in Belize. The saying is "if you want to make a small fortune in belize, bring a big one.

bywarren: you'd probably be surprised! I'd down a bottle of $1.98 champagne before I'd raise a Belikins bottle to my lips! Sorry but I cannot stomach that Belikins on a good day. That's why I'm buying a boat, so I can float some beer in & stay in AC longer, that rum is rough on me! Also I meant to ask you how that cruise went. What time of year, how were the seas & weather. My plans are to leave Key West & port in Havana for a few days. Then cruise around western end of Cuba & port. Then shoot across to Cancun. Eventually cruise south along the coast to AC & that would be right after I load as much beer as I can drink in 2 weeks in the last Mexican port. I'd like to hear a little about your trip if you have a minute. Thanks.
