When I look at the current temps on The Palms web site it says it is currently 73 degrees. Is that correct?

We leave Saturday and if the daily temps are only between 70-75 then I need to bring some warmer clothes for the mornings and evenings. Does it cool much when the sun goes down? As in should I bring pants?

Hi NancyO,

I'll write up a trip report when we return and will include a review of The Palms. It looks like a very nice place from the pics on the web site. Many have posted and said it is one of the better places to stay. I like that there is a kitchen and that it is centrally located.

Still looking for weather info for this week smile

boatgirl, I see you're from IL. Your blood is probably thick enough to compensate for a little 70 degree temps in the tropics. You don't have to bring HEAVY clothes, just some lightweight long pants and a long sleeved t-shirt and maybe a hooded UNINSULATED windbreaker.

I have found that massive quantities of Belikins are not only an effective antifreeze; they will eliminate the chill as well.

No mistake, 70's is an improvement from where I am now. I'm originally a California girl and I freeze in IL. When I plan a tropical vacation I like to leave the sweaters and pants home. I did find an extended forcast and it looks like it will be 80-85 next week, some showers and clouds.
I'm hoping for a great weather week and bringing lots of gin in case we are rained in. Then it will become a second honeymoon wink
