I am looking for economical lodging for just a few nights, and wondered why these two places never seem to get mentioned.

Is the only drawback to CBV the barge which is still sitting there?

Spindrift is affordable, is the location really a noisy one?

Thanks

Db -

I wouldn't worry too much about the barge - it makess for good entertainment at times. And, it close to Margie @ Coconuts laugh

'course if you're trying to save a few $$, ya could go to the other end of town and check out that "special" real Belizean place wink

when ya thinking of going?

Yes, April is a long way off, and high season. I might have a storage room available and a hammock I could loan you. It does have a water view though, from the attached (but broken) bath.

What a pal you are, Lee, always thinking of others. Such kindness will be rewarded someday, just you wait and see!!! :p

It's nice knowing there is a lodging available if needed. Thanks smile

That was my shy, bashful, artistic and sensitive side coming out.
News Flash: Its still a scorched and chocolate-less world here on CC. I did have some dancing visitors from the big city of San Pedro (Sodom and Gamorrah), who upon attempting to dip me whilst enjoying the crooning of Dennis Wolfe, found that I dont bend backwards very well. I'm a little old to be almost dropped on my head. Phew!
This is starting to sound like a Reef Ransom report. laugh

Have to been to AC before becuase your name sounds familiar. I have stayed at 3 places there, and LOVE Spindrifts. It is CLEAN, large rooms w/ balconies and NOT noisy at all.
I think Coral Bay may have reopened, it was under reconstruction when I was there in April.
