I stayed in Belize last year and thoroughly enjoyed the condo that I rented. However, this year I would like to stay in town. There was a brand new development of 1 bedroom condos just being finished around November last year that I would like to check out; does anybody happen to know the name of the place ? I can't remember too much more than that - - I know there has been a lot of bulding going on!!

Thanks,

Tom

You may be thinking of Aqua Marina Suites, it's the newest development right IN town that I can think of. The only others that come to mind are south of town.

I must have missed AquaMarina Suites when we were in town in August.

Where exactly are they located?

They look pretty nice.

Perla Escondida just south of town was really nice when we went through them this last trip! They may have been under construction last year.
They are right next to Coconuts.

Another vote for the Perla Escondida. Stayed there last month. Great people, great location and it's brand new. http://www.escape2belize.com/perlaescondida/

Wart-is this an unbiased opinion? or should you not point out that you are related to the owners.

My wife's uncle, but I would welcome anyone to drop by and visit and see for themselves. Do you disagree that it is a nice place w/ nice people and brand new???

Its bad feng shui to have a business located next to a cemetery. Its doomed, besides all those loose spirits and bad energy. I would never knowingly stay next to a cemetery.

You would think the developers would have consulted with a feng shui expert before building next to a cemetery.

I think Wart's uncle-inlaw owns Perla Escondida, not the haunted Aquamarine Suites. Perla has Ada, so it does have good folks. I look forward to taking a peek next time I visit.

Perla Esconsida- the only condom in the Caribbean without a useable veranda overlooking the sea- a miserable design!

from the photos, they look ok, I will have to go and see.

Both places have satisfied customers, guess it's a matter of personal preference

The alternative to building next to a cemetery, is to build somewhere else. What other alternative were you thinking of KLC?

I think he meant, that staying next to the cemetary is a better alternative to having a cement bed in the cemetary.

All those McFengShui locations across America seem to be doing pretty well next to grave yards.

FROM A REAL ESTATE POINT OF VIEW, NEXT TO A CEMETARY IS ALWAYS QUIET, EXCEPT FOR AN OCCASISONAL SUFFLE WHEN THER IS AS A NEW SERVICE GOING ON. KBG QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD wink wink
