Which lines go to Belize? Is there port Belize City? How do I find out which days they are there so that I can plan around them? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Right now, the boat people are in port pretty much Tuesday through Friday every week. The "high season" coming up may see a seven-days-a-week horde coming ashore in Belize City for their day in port, from multiple ships. They have about a six-hour window to make day trips away from BC itself. Check the newspaper archives for recent articles about the cruise industry.

The Hotel Assn was told that ships would be in 5 days a week only, unless the new docks were built. Needless to say, I hope that is the case. I don't even go over to BC to do business on cruise days, and would certainly NEVER try to go to any of the tourist venues.
We were also told that 4 properties in San Pedro have agreed to having cruisers come in... but so far, no one is telling who that is. I know that we were approached, but our resort guests are our priority (But the $$ was hard to resist!)
Cheerz!

Thank you ~
As long as I know which lines go, I can pull them up on the internet and see what day, what ship is in BC.
Thanks again for the help.

There were 5 ships in on the 25th. 3 were really big boats! Sites of interest throughout central Belize are being over run. If you want to enjoy a point of interest, go early in the morning or on a weekend. Most places just can't handle the amounts of people they are bringing.

Spoke with a gal recently who works at the "tourist village" in BC. There are at least three cruise ships coming in daily to BC now, and guess what, most of them make runs to Caye Caulker and/or AC. There are days when there are more people than sharks at Shark Ray Alley. I have seen people dropped off at Playador and Banyan Bay and Hustlers has boats coming in almost every day at Wet Willies!

Guess there is no way to plan all of your tours around the cruise ships! I might however, be better off to schedule afternoon dives/snorkels/etc. than morning ones. Thanks again for all the help!
