Hi Everyone - I arrive in Ambergris Caye on New Year's Eve and am wondering what to expect with the weather. I've seen reports for Belize City that forecast rain and thunder storms for the next 6 days. Is the same true for AC?

The Belize City report varies greatly from the weather around the cayes. Rain squalls pass through from time to time and are gone, just don't worry yourself about a little rain, I've been down often & you simply can't go by that report. The rainy season seems to be tapering off, but you can expect a shower here & there through the spring months. I bet it won't ruin your time.

Is it supposed to be sunny during mid to end of January? Hope so! I am looking forward to getting some sun! I did not realize this was still the rainy season!! What about in Cayo? typically the same weather there as on Ambergris Caye?
