hey everyone,
I will be getting married there this spring and I was suggested to have a carribbean band to play at my reception. Do you know who this band may be and if they are good? Oh, yeah and the type of music?

Hi Lacole, Just got back Sunday from SP & as far as know there are not any what you would call Caribbean Bands. It,s a small place & musicians & bands are limited in number. There are two guys who play Island music & they do a fine job. I believe they are called Will & Dale. Maybe someone on the Island can give more info on them for you. I know they play all over.We saw them at Fidos on the beach. You have picked a wonderful place to get married!!! Good Luck

There is also a real good rock band called Catergory X. I,m sure they could adapt different types of music for you. Hey it's always good to "Rock On" when you get married.

I'm not a local but I know there are several Cabibbean bands on AC. Where are you getting married? The hotel should be able to recommend a few.

WAAAYYY back, in the cobwebs of my mind, I recall a steel drum duo that played at Mata Rocks one afternoon (at the beach bar) seem like they were two girls. You may wish to check with Mata Rocks.

Come on locals!!! I still know that there some folks who live on AC who could give you names & numbers of people who play Carib. music.

After all we do give a lot of local music people plugs on this board from time to time.
