My brain is not capable of doing a trip report in any sort of orderly fashion. Those of you who know me will understand that completely.
Best new discovery. (New to me)
Sol Spa After 14 days or so of walking in sand barefoot, climbing into boats and in general abusing my poor tootsies, I found the perfect pedicure. At the recommendation of Jennifer from Casa Picasso (more about them soon) I went to Sol Spa. Kerry (owner) has done a remarkable job creating an environment of total relaxation. From the purple and tan swirled walls to the big comfy chair, this place is heaven. Jorleny did the best pedicure I have ever had. After an hour pedicure and great conversation I was ready to face the world again. The price was very reasonable too!
Agree! My two friends and I visited the spa on our trip just last week. Love all the little jewels on those purple walls. I had the aloe sun wrap and mini facial. She used some face cleanser that smelled fabulous - found out it was coconut milk. Then she used a pineapple exfoliant-another wonderful smell. Tried to buy some at the end to take home, but she told me their secret - just dried coconut milk from the supermarket added to unscented face cleaner! I brought home about 6 packets of the dried milk I found at the store and its wonderful! Just thought I would pass along this great idea.
Just when you think it can't get better - it does. Casa Picasso was one of my favorite restaurants on my last trip. The offer of a trade - Shiner Bock beer for martini's was my incentive to try them the first time. Yes, I actually lugged several bottles of Shiner in my carry on. This time was no exception to the awesome food, perfect service and great conversation. James and Florencio (sp) make a great team. They anticipated every detail to make our meal very relaxing and enjoyable. First dinner on AC was great tapas, martinis and cracked coconut ice cream. What else can you ask for? The atmosphere is sophisticated and relaxing. Perfect place for an evening of great food and adult conversation. Jennifer, Chris and staff made all three visits (one just for dessert and martinis) a total joy. Thanks guys, can't wait until next time.
P.S. You have to try the spicy shrimp and coconut ice cream! Two of my absolute favorites. And if Jennifer puts her Amaretto - white chocolate - rasberry creation on the menu that is one you can't pass up!
I miss ya, heck we all miss ya! Although I may have to dispute "adult conversation" on some of the episodes of ths visit, then again, some of the evenings are fuzzy... Sorry I didn't see your post sooner, Jen's brother got married this week here, been entertaining.
love from Jen too, Chris Casa Picasso

Ok, maybe I should define my idea of "adult conversation" Conversation held by adults, not intended for young ears. It is just a presumption that the participants in these conversations were at all times capable of behaving like adults... Do you think it may have had something to do with the alcohol comsumption?
I miss you guys too. Hope the wedding was great! Take care.
