I'm looking for a place for my wife and I to celebrate our 10th anniversary, and any suggestions would be appreciated....I have checked out the websites for Capricorn and Victoria House and they both look great, with Victoria in the lead, mainly because their website is a little more informative.....even a private dinner cruise would be awesome, if avaiable..........help me please......

I have been to Belize 3 times in the past year and from what you have been looking at, it is said Capricorn is one of the best on the island with Mata Chica also wonderful and the most romantic.

Capricorn IS great, no question. And Mata chica has its own great charm.

But our top pick for a ROMANTIC dinner is Rendezvous House. Superb cuisine, intimate setting, not lots of people. They'll probably take you back home in their boat. They make wine there, and it's now quite good. (they have other wines as well.) Glenn and Coleen are wonderful hosts.

Daphne and I were there for Saint Valentine's Day this year. Couldn't have been better.

P. S. You will need to make reservations in advance. We made our Saint Valentine's Day reservations from Boston two weeks before hand and just got a spot --- but that was Saint Valentine's Day.

Still, make reservations if you choose Rendezvous House.

My wife and I just celebrated our 10th anniversary dinner at Victoria House last week and it was excellent with a capital "E". They even arranged transportation to pick us up at the Palms and drop us off afterward.

We had the most romantic dinner on Valentines Day at Rico's in the gazebo. The gazebo is on the water-it was lovely. The food was good.
