I just checked the AC web site and saw that tut, tut, it looks like rain in SP! I'm leaving for the island tomorrow morning and wonder now if I should reconsider what I packed. For those of you sitting in SP this very moment, could tell me if these are passing rainstorms, or should I pack an extra novel and plan to spend even MORE time inside at the bars?? I suppose if I *had* to, I could.... Thanks!

No rain here..

Just got back on Saturday from San Pedro. While the forecast for the week was T-storms each day in Belize City, we had one 5 minute shower the entire week there. Windy as hell, but no rain!

I'll take those tradewinds any day of the year over no wind. This is very often true that the mainland my get more showers than the island and the showers that do come by keep right on going.

The winds definitely made a difference with the temperature - we were comfortable when the wind was blowing. Go back one or two blocks and it was HOT!
