I seriously slacked on getting this trip report done. To read it and see many pictures, use this link:

Great report and photos! I really enjoyed them. Also noticed that the hair was up the majority of the time. wink I'm taking the hint and bringing brush, scrunchies, and clips and leaving the curling irons at home. ~Jenn

fuzzy_navel: Yes, bring scrunchies and hair clips!!! It was very windy when we were there. Had I not had clips, it would've looked like rats had nested in my hair the whole vacation. smile

Hi ServaCat! As a matter of curiosity, where is this villa and what is the weekly rate?

KathyA: The villa is immediately south of Royal Palms which is immediately south of Mata Rocks. I don't think it is typically rented out - it's someone's personal villa. The owner let Kelly use it that week. I think it's for sale though.

I enjoyed your adventures, ServaCat! The tree you wondered about is a breadfruit. Thanks for takin' me back!

Jenn: Along with the clips, scrunchies, etc. I found that if I pulled the hair back and then hit it real hard with extra firm hairspray I could keep it out of my face. Not recommended for snorkeling days, though. LOL You are going to have a great time!

Breadfruit is a staple in the diet of many people of the tropics including the Polynesians. Properly prepared it is delicious! Usually baked underground along with the luau pig. Yuummm!!!!
